Tomato varieties - May 5th

Although the tag said Kellogg Breakfast, these tomatoes came out smaller (2"). Looking online, Kellogg Breakfast appeared to be large slicing tomatoes. I did find these, though, and they look similar to what we actually grew: https://www.tomatofest.com/Gold_Dust_Tomato_Seeds_p/tf-0203a.htm

Blackberries, Peppers and Impatiens

The blackberries have been discovered by the birds and the netting (too short), whirlygigs, mylar owl and even fake snakes have not deterred them We have picked three banana (very hot) and one jalapeno pepper as of today. We have ripe cherry tomatoes still on the vine. The impatiens at the front walk have been suffering. An email has been sent to the grower.

Watering schedule as of June 21

Water timers, as of Jun 21 are as follows: butterfly garden and raised beds in back yard: start at 5:00, for 10 minutes, every 12 hours sidewalk flower beds and bed just west of flower beds (sunflowers, dahlias and garlic): soaker hose, start at 5:40 for 20 minutes, every 12 hours. tomatoes, peppers, marigolds and potted saffron: sprinkler, 6:00 for 15 minutes, every two day Mailbox plants, all potted plants on porch and deck, watered manually each morning
